925 STERLING SILVER, A NOBLE METAL ALLOY OR SURGICAL STEEL JEWELLERY
The jewels in our collection are designed using three different materials: 925 sterling silver, a noble metal alloy or surgical steel.
Most of our pieces are designed using an alloy of noble metals because in this collection we can offer the highest quality and durability of each piece.
18K GOLD PLATING
The plating process of our noble metal alloy parts is specially developed to provide a better adhesion of the 18 karat gold layer to the metal. This process also includes the addition of a layer of palladium that prevents the jewel from oxidizing and turning dark as can happen with silver, in addition to shielding it and transforming it into a hypoallergenic piece *.
Our pieces are plated in 18-karat white gold (rhodium) or yellow gold through a process called electroplating, which consists of depositing thin layers of gold and / or rhodium using electricity.
For each piece in our collection we carefully define the ideal amount of gold to guarantee the highest quality and durability to it.
GOLD PLATED
The pieces in our STEEL EDIT line are gold-plated, offering basic protection to the products in this collection.
MINERALS
We use a variety of natural stones, crystals and zircons to embellish our jewels.
In every case, the stones are inlaid using the same methods used by fine jewellery makers to guarantee a high durability so you can enjoy your jewellery for many years to come.
1 YEAR WARRANTY
At Malu Maiese we are committed to producing the highest quality jewellery that, with due care, you will be able to wear for many years to come.
For this reason, all our jewellery come with a 1 year warranty that covers any manufacturing defects as well as any imperfections on the gold plating that has not been caused by improper use.
